I came to Duke’s Fuqua School of Business with the goal of building out my strategy skillset.

I had this burning passion for combining my enthusiasm for community service with a career path.

The languages I speak, as well as my reflections on home and borders, is what led me to pursue an MBA at Fuqua.

Global Week is an event celebrating Fuqua’s international diversity and inclusivity, and typically it’s a great opportunity for Fuqua students to showcase their home cultures and interact with alumni with international backgrounds.

Companies from different industries come to Fuqua’s campus with fascinating challenges, so I was very intentional when handpicking just a few of them to participate in, focusing on gaining exposure to industries I was genuinely interested in.

One of the great opportunities we have at Fuqua is to learn from leaders across a multitude of industries. This exposure is, simply put, invaluable.

I came to business school to learn how to make the business case for taking action on climate change, and my time as a CASE i3 Fellow offered a remarkable opportunity to apply what I’d learned to the real world.

As part of the Gender Equity Working Group, a student group committed to systemically reducing gender inequity at Fuqua and beyond, we took on the challenge of defining "DQ."

It was Fuqua that helped me mature. I feel not only prepared but excited for the next chapter.

In some of my first interactions, I could see the many possibilities for students to be leaders within the Fuqua community and to make a difference for their peers and the broader community. Taking the responsibility of being a leader at Fuqua is essential to maintaining the community which we love so much.
