Looking back, this trip was the ideal way to close out my first month at Duke.

For those who can dream, and those with a strong support system, there is no place such as far away.

These experiences and learnings have not only prepared me for the business world but have also shaped me into a more resilient and empathetic individual.

Embarking on an enriching MBA trip during my second year at Fuqua taught me about leadership, organization and personal growth.

Dreaming is simple, but fear and discomfort often set in when turning our dreams into reality.

While I initially struggled to build a strong community at Fuqua, I eventually found my home here.

Moving from China to the U.S. was a big step for us, especially with two little kids.

After just a few months of working with my team, I’ve learned how to embrace other’s differences to make a strong team.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to do activities that I love while building my leadership skills and creating lifelong friends along the way.

Despite initial anxiety, the preparation paid off, and having my wife and dog with me has enhanced my MBA journey.
