I'm an MPP/MBA joint degree candidate, pursuing my MBA at Fuqua and my Master of Public Policy at Sanford. I've interned in the Atlanta and Dallas mayor offices, as well as in the Texas Legislature, and prior to graduate school I taught biology, chemistry, and physics in Memphis, Tennessee. During my time teaching, I developed a passion for using performing arts to tell the stories of students.

Upon moving to Durham for graduate school, my love for music and student narratives led me to create an initiative called Just Listen that uses performing arts to tell the stories of Durham high school students and drive social change.

For my internship, I'm working as a summer executive associate for M&T Bank in the Commercial Banking Middle Market Group in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, I hope to continue serving communities by listening, empowering and discovering ways to help them thrive.
