I am a former registered nurse and military veteran who recently completed my MBA at Fuqua. My professional background in health care shaped my passion for serving others and navigating high-pressure environments, while my military experience strengthened my leadership, resilience and love of teamwork. Together, these experiences sparked my interest in entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) as a path to lead and grow a business, particularly within the health care space.
One of the most meaningful aspects of my time at Fuqua has been Team Fuqua — the strong sense of community and support exemplified within the ETA ecosystem. The collaborative culture and willingness of classmates, faculty and alumni to share their experiences have made what initially felt like an overwhelming path feel accessible and achievable. Being part of a community that genuinely invests in each other’s growth has been instrumental in shaping my MBA experience.
Outside of school, I am a wife and mother of three young children and spend much of my time cheering on their sports teams and balancing family life with my academic and professional goals. I also enjoy exploring new places around the Triangle, trying new coffee shops and spending time outdoors with my family.
