I was born in India, raised in the UAE, and spent some time living in France before coming to Duke for my MBA. While my address changed quite often, two of my biggest passion areas—animal rights and the environment—did not. I spent four years as an M&A consultant at KPMG and wanted to use the MBA to learn about how I could apply the business skills that I had developed to create an impact in my areas of interest. Duke introduced me to strategy consulting projects within the alternative proteins space, VC focused on FoodTech, leadership positions in relevant student clubs (including one that I launched), and a host of other exciting initiatives!
I’m excited to join Bain & Company as a consultant post-graduation and look forward to diving deeper into the firm’s work in sustainable food systems. A fun fact about me—over the years, I have adopted 12 cats, three dogs, one baby bird and one spider (yes, you read that right)!
