When I got my admission to Fuqua, I was not even considering becoming a consultant. To be honest, I did not even know what a consultant does.

As a 12-year veteran of Fuqua’s Career Management Center and a Daytime MBA alumnus myself, I take great pride in how we support our students’ career searches. Throughout the program, we help students navigate recruiting while also preparing them for the career journey they’ll experience years after graduation.

I worked with teammates from diverse backgrounds, ranging from management consulting to private equity, to help position a surgical robot against a competitor.

The opportunity to get my hands dirty working on a real-life business problem, and see the impact we were making in real-time, went far beyond classroom learning for me.

Fuqua's partnership with Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship provides interdisciplinary curricular and co-curricular programming to students across Duke.

It happened every time. Almost intuitively, as I walked into a packed room of investment banking prospects, I immediately knew exactly how many other women were present. You could usually count us on one hand.

I came to Duke’s Fuqua School of Business with the goal of building out my strategy skillset.

At Fuqua, there's no shortage of avenues for support when it comes to academics, career, and new opportunities to stretch yourself. The Duke MBA Marketing Club is a great example.

In those interactions, I made the decision to engage in entrepreneurship—the ultimate hustle.

I knew I wanted to participate in the CASE i3 Consulting Practicum program, which pairs a team of select MBA students with an impact investing question that a company is wrestling with.
