Student-sponsored Food Drive in Progress
The MMS Black Student Association (BSA) and Non-Profit Club present the first ever Thanksgiving Food Drive! Much of our time in the MMS program is spent developing ourselves professionally and personally. Between our rigorous coursework, networking, and navigating the recruiting season, it’s easy to become absorbed in the Fuqua bubble.
In an effort to engage with the broader Durham community, and continue the community-oriented spirit that many of us entered the program with, the MMS BSA and Non-Profit Club have decided to organize a Thanksgiving Food Drive. We hope to donate what we gather to the Durham Rescue Mission, right before we all leave for Thanksgiving break. I’m hopeful that Fuqua’s response will be an extremely positive one, and I look forward to seeing how we can make a difference in someone’s Thanksgiving holiday. Let’s go Team Fuqua!!
The food drive is from Nov. 7 – 21, and we are collecting nonperishable food items. Collection boxes are located in the Keller Center East mallway.
