Duke Fuqua student blogger Dilnaman Singh, student in the Masters of Management Studies program

I was born and raised in New Delhi, the capital of India, amidst diverse cultures. I see myself as an adventurist, ready to explore the different aspects of life and see them from a varied perspective.

Prior to Fuqua

I graduated with a Bachelors of Management Degree from the University of Delhi. Outside the classroom, at any given day, you could find me running around the college, organizing college events and activities as a member of the college students’ board. I was also the president of my department’s student association and my college’s Rotaract Club.

Why Fuqua and MMS?

I want to achieve all my academic pursuits before evolving professionally. While I was in my undergrad, I got to know about a program at the prestigious Fuqua School of Business that gives undergrads, with no work experience, an opportunity to gain the business acumen. I knew my short-term and long-term goals, and they perfectly aligned to the MMS program. In addition, Fuqua would provide me with an international exposure, access to inspirational business leaders and opportunity to develop invaluable networks and lifelong relationships.

I immediately started preparing for the admissions process and luckily, I got in!

Final words?

I am truly honored to be a part of the MMS and Fuqua community. The program is exactly how I expected it to be (actually, even better!). If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at dilnaman.sachdeva@duke.edu.
