I was born in Buffalo, New York. I spent some time living in China and Canada, but grew up mostly in Birmingham, Michigan.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017. After graduation, I worked as a registered nurse on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Although I valued my one on one patient interaction, I wanted to improve health care on a larger scale. I chose the Master of Management program at Fuqua because I wanted to learn the core concepts of business.

One of the things I love about being in Durham is the opportunities it offers as part of the Research Triangle area. Since being here, I attended the Duke MBA Health Care Conference and volunteered at the Precision Medicine World Conference. I also participated and led a team during the Triangle Health Innovation Challenge.

At Fuqua, I’m engaged in the Association of Women in Business, Health Care Club, and Health Provider Association. In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, yoga, and hiking. This past winter I spent one month backpacking up the east coast of Australia.
