From athletes and entrepreneurs to engineers and content creators, I met people whose stories reshaped how I listened, how I asked questions, and how I lead.

I knew I could load my plate with school, activities, and so much more; I needed to be intentional about how I spent my short time at Duke.

Emerging from high school and embarking on my undergraduate journey, I thought that to be successful, I needed to pursue a career in medicine or law.

I knew MMS would help bridge the gaps in my college experience caused by the pandemic. What I did not know, however, was that every day I would get the chance to look back and see firsthand how much of a life-changing opportunity attending Duke and Fuqua was for me.

Joining #TeamFuqua was never a lifelong dream, but when I learned it was a possibility, it quickly became one.

I felt confident in my decision to join Team Fuqua when I met the campus in person. I remember walking through the famous Duke Gardens with my parents, drinking in the sunlight and watching the ducks. I felt convinced in that moment I could make a home here.
