As a devotee of Steve Jobs and his disruptive approach to marketing, I always knew I’d wind up a marketing guy somewhere down the line.

Due to the rapid pace of the 6-week terms, it is very difficult to get caught up if you let yourself fall too far behind.

I am deeply grateful to Fuqua for being such an important part of my life.

As I decided to leave my full-time job and go to graduate school, one of the motivating factors to attend Fuqua was the opportunity to grow as a leader.

I knew MMS would help bridge the gaps in my college experience caused by the pandemic. What I did not know, however, was that every day I would get the chance to look back and see firsthand how much of a life-changing opportunity attending Duke and Fuqua was for me.

My parents raised me to be a part of something bigger than myself.

It’s been just over three years since I graduated from the MMS program and I wanted to reflect on how Fuqua prepared me for the challenges ahead.

Similar to a lot of other students, when I arrived at Fuqua I wasn’t sure what industry I wanted to pursue a career in yet.
