An integral part of my time at Fuqua has been interacting and spending several weeks with people from backgrounds and cultures I’d never met before.

My employer is allowing me the time and space to leave work for travel as part of the Global Executive MBA program, and it is taking on part of the cost.

Our residencies include class time, teamwork time, and excursions to different parts of the city—so the days are fun but jam-packed.

I would immediately be putting lessons from my MBA program to use in the most difficult of circumstances.

My classmates and I banded together to create a student-led initiative in an effort to develop anti-racist businesses because we feel it is up to us, current and future leaders, to shape the future strategies.

I have a unique story behind pursuing my MBA and my corporate passion: my oldest child was diagnosed with a life-threatening disease.

I was quite confident that I was going to absolutely crush balancing the rigors of a fast-paced job, a Global Executive MBA program, all while being a husband and a new dad.

When it was announced that Term 2 and Term 3 would be domestic residencies in Durham, I set out to create engaging club activities over Zoom that gave members of my class cultural immersion and networking experiences.
