The Fuqua Quantitative Management Programs Data Competition motivated us to find new applications for machine learning and data analysis in a field that we’re deeply passionate about: sports.

DISI is an organization, open to all graduate students across the professional schools at Duke, that provides pro bono consulting services to non-profits in Durham and nearby communities.

With only 10 months in the MQM program, you quickly learn to make every moment count.

Looking back, I gained a lot, not only from the program but from the entire experience of studying in a business school in a different country.

Here is a glimpse into the bits and pieces of my everyday life as a Master of Quantitative Management (MQM) student.

I have always been passionate about engaging in extracurricular activities and serving in whatever community I find myself.

Last fall, I had the absolute honor of representing Fuqua and Duke as a finalist in the Adobe Analytics Challenge. I was flown out to Adobe’s headquarters in San Jose, California, to present our big ideas in front of a panel of judges and a live audience.

One popular opportunity is to serve as a student leader of the class in the MQM Association which is an integral part of the program experience
