While MQM events are great social activities, they help students build the interpersonal skills that recruiters look for and create a community that makes the MQM experience more meaningful and memorable.

Despite all of my fears, I stepped out of my comfort zone, embodying Team Fuqua without even realizing it.

At Fuqua, I was constantly learning how data could enhance marketing creativity.

From the very beginning, I knew the MQM program was going to be incredibly diverse. I was determined to take advantage of the opportunity to connect with as many people as possible.

During the MQM program, there will be times when the tide of time is switching so fast you can’t keep up, but things that you are passionate about will keep you affixed to the ground.

Adjusting to life in the U.S. was about more than just adapting to a new food culture; it was about finding a way to feel at home in a place that was vastly different from where I grew up.

Together, we’ve navigated academic challenges, explored the vibrant city of Durham, and built a strong support system.

Amid the challenges of the MQM program — whether grappling with various machine learning methods or mastering the design of data visualization dashboards — I could always rely on the abundance of sporting events throughout the year as a welcome reprieve.
