Looking back on my time at Duke, I feel proud, but I feel even more grateful…for the people I met, for the ideas I was exposed to, and for the unexpected benefits of the program.

My journey from bedside nurse to the tech industry was made possible by the professors, leaders, and support from the Duke community.

After finishing the program, I can confidently say I am more than a doctor with clinical knowledge and program management skills, I can also leverage my data analytics skills.

My transition from pursuing medicine to health administration is a dynamic and evolving journey.

Over the last two years, not only have I gained highly valuable quantitative skills, but I also developed new communication skills.

MSQM: HA is a truly eye-opening program.

I don’t think I would have developed my current skillset if it weren’t for the MSQM program, and I definitely would not be receiving the same professional opportunities.

Analytics can be a game changer for almost any business or organization, but it can be a long, daunting journey before the benefits are realized.

Reaching a turning point in my career, I had to decide between upgrading my programming and data analytics skills or falling behind in an industry that is becoming increasingly data-driven.
