I am a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist at Virtua Center for Women in Willingboro, New Jersey. My responsibilities also include teaching medical students and training resident physicians. Prior to that, I was a self-employed solo practitioner for 15 years in Northern Virginia. Health access and equity are important to me both locally and globally. I have participated in several medical mission trips providing women’s health services in medically underserved areas. My most recent mission trip was to Livingstone, Zambia, in November 2023, where I volunteered at a clinic that provided care for pregnant women affected by HIV/AIDS.

I completed my undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey and earned my medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. I completed my residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. To date, my career has focused on caring for women throughout their lifespan. I am interested in pivoting from the clinical side of medicine to the business side. I believe health outcomes can be improved by advancing technology in health care, diversifying the medical workforce and improving access in high-risk communities.

In my free time, you will find me outdoors. I am a triathlete and enjoy hiking and camping. When time permits, I combine my love of travel with my athletic pursuits. I recently ran the London Marathon to raise funds for Action on Pre-eclampsia, a charitable organization devoted to raising awareness and supporting families affected by this obstetric complication. I have two children and a loyal Labradoodle named Lola.
