There was I time where I doubted whether I was smart or important enough to even have a place at Fuqua. I became my own barrier to success, and I know I’m not alone in that.

Altogether, we raised more than $4,000 to fund the Rise Against Hunger meal kits.

It wasn’t until I came to Fuqua, that I understood there was one more stage we should be striving to achieve, one of interdependence.

I had the opportunity to be surrounded by people who had incredible minds while advancing my education.

Fraternities and sororities are a great way for undergraduate students to enter new social circles and establish lifelong networks.

I sought out Fuqua’s Weekend Executive MBA program because it was the best fit for where I currently am in my career. 

As I near the twilight of my time at Fuqua, I can attest to the life-changing experience that only the Weekend Executive MBA learning journey can provide.

When reflecting on my career as a woman of color (WoC), a feeling to continue to aim for excellence became increasingly stronger as I added more experience to my resume, and I knew I wanted change.

When I showed up at Fuqua for the Weekend Executive program kickoff, I found parallels between running ultramarathons and pursuing my MBA.

As I started to think about an Executive MBA program that would be the best fit for me, I knew I wanted an opportunity for connections with others.
