For me, this experience isn’t just about professional advancement. It’s about expanding my capacity to build something that lasts and the capacity to lead when outcomes aren’t guaranteed.

When I got accepted, I was happy but also unsure. I didn’t have all the answers, but I would soon learn that I didn’t need them to experience a big transformation.

I came to Duke to layer business strategy on top of my design skills and be capable of creating the change I want to see in the world, but I quickly felt out of place.

After years of detours, doubts, and delays, I had finally said yes to a long-held dream, but I was quickly reminded that dreaming and doing are two very different things.

Serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment, the U.S. Army helped me find aspects of a home that I missed growing up and joining Fuqua feels like coming home all over again.

I strive to life a purpose-driven life and wholly believe that without a greater purpose, all successes are fleeting.

Facing the unknown and going after a long-term goal, there is no substitute for being fully aligned, fully committed, and ready to show up for each other.

The Executive MBA program is about becoming the best executive you can be, whether you are one already or not.

Fuqua has been a transformative adventure for me, reinforcing the value of staying true to myself.
