I serve as a Managing Director in Internal Audit at American International Group (AIG). Prior to serving in this role, I was responsible for overseeing the audit strategy and execution for the life insurance (U.S.) business unit. As the president of Corebridge Financial Black Professionals (National Network) Employee Resource Group, I am actively involved with shaping and supporting the organization’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging goals.

I came to AIG in 2019 after 10 years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where I focused on providing advisory and external audit services to multiple companies within the financial services industry in Nigeria and the U.S. I was also a diversity and inclusion network leader and led campus recruiting efforts for my market team.

I am a certified public accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a Fellow of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Currently, I am pursuing my MBA in the Global Executive MBA program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. I hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, information and communication technology from Covenant University, Nigeria.

I live in Houston, Texas. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and mixology, paired with good music, a podcast, tv show or thriller movie.
