I am a buyer for The Container Store, specializing in the Elfa and Avera Custom Spaces areas. Over my 10 years at TCS, I’ve had the opportunity to buy many different categories while working my way up through the buying department. To answer your questions; yes, I love being organized, yes, I have an Elfa closet myself, and yes, my clothes are in rainbow order!

I am a proud Texas Longhorn and have a B.B.A. in Supply Chain Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Hook ‘em! My family also bleeds burnt orange. My husband, dad, brother, and cousins all went to UT, so we love going to UT football games together.

My dad is from Tehran, Iran and my mom is from Fort Worth, TX. Growing up I always wanted to learn Farsi (the language of Iran), but my mom didn’t like that she couldn’t understand. So recently I forced my brother to take Farsi lessons with me, and we took them even while I was in the GEMBA program – because I didn’t think I had enough to do!

While I was born and raised in Dallas and have only ever lived in Texas, I love to travel and have an extensive bucket list of places I would like to visit – which is one of the reasons I wanted to join the GEMBA program.

Traveling to Dubai for residency was an amazing experience since there were many Persians for me to practice my Farsi. I have loved exploring more cultures throughout the program and even learning more about my own!
