Passionate about giving back to my local community, I have remained connected to my high school, awarding annual scholarships and sponsorships to members of the girls’ basketball team who exhibit integrity on and off the court. I have extended this passion around the world, particularly in Brazil, Costa Rica, Thailand, and Ghana, where I taught English, implemented sports and technology programs for children, and assisted medical residents in an emergency room.
As an employee of Warner Bros Discover Sports [formerly Turner Sports], I served as a board member for Ladies in Tech at Turner, an organization that helps to connect, grow, and celebrate women in technology. I am a persistent advocate for initiatives, with a focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion + Gender Equality. In 2021, I received an Emmy® as Lead Technologist for the NBA Digital Season Restart during the pandemic.
In addition to my philanthropic and professional work, I started to expand my presence in the health and wellness space by founding selfmap®, a HealthTech startup. selfmap® serves to accelerate the expansion of human potential by building products that connect people to universally accessible tools necessary to obtain optimal health for deeper self-discovery. I am also a Duke-certified Health and Well-Being Coach. Go Duke!
