As a lifelong Duke fan, coming here was always part of the plan. After graduating from Union College with a focus on political science, I moved to Massachusetts to serve as a 9th-grade history teacher, law teacher, and varsity boys soccer coach as part of a Teach for America commitment. Seeking to remain in education but gain business experience, I moved on to Pearson Publishing, before briefly leaving to work at Gartner in Washington, DC. For the 3.5 years prior to Fuqua, I was working as a launch consultant for the Education Advisory Board, during which I ultimately decided I wanted to experience new challenges that only a top MBA program could qualify me for.

Fuqua was my top choice because of its team-first culture, all the clubs it offers, and the opportunity it provided to stand courtside at Cameron during a victory over UNC. At Fuqua I’m the marketing club co-president, the soccer club co-president, the section 4 social chair, and the FuquaVision Marketing VP (to name a few roles). I enjoy reading, eating, and just about every sport aside from golf. You can find me all over the Triangle trying new restaurants or walking my dog Luna on 9th Street.
