I come from a beautiful, coastal city in China called Tianjin. I graduated from Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, majoring in finance.
During my four years of academic study and my professional experience, I developed an interest in analyzing data. When working as an intern at Johnson & Johnson and Volkswagen Finance, I did a lot of work with data, processing it and analyzing what the implications might be for the business. After graduating from MMS, I want to pursue a career as a business analyst in a consulting firm.
As for my hobbies, I am enthralled by all things that take place on a live stage—music, theater, anything. I’m really looking forward to my first trip to New York, because I plan to see The Phantom of The Opera live! I myself am a proficient erhu player, which is a traditional Chinese instrument.
Coming to America to study was a big decision for me, and moving to Durham—a quiet city compared to the metropolitan Beijing—was also a big transition.
Being a member of the Fuqua Community is so amazing, and the 10 months that the program lasts is such a short time. So I’m going to make full use of every second to do something truly memorable!
