I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist-Supervisor, holding licenses across seven states (GA, FL, OK, NC, MA, TX, and TN) with California pending. My background extends beyond therapy, including a five-year stint as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas-Dallas in the Behavioral and Brain Science Department.

I am a certified John Maxwell Business & Leadership Coach of eight years and also spent a season serving as the Mental Performance Coach for the Dallas Jackals, a professional rugby team. Recognized as Nashville’s Black 40 under 40 in 2016, I have written seven books and been featured in top-tier media outlets.

I received my Ph.D. in clinical counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2018. Currently, I am pursuing my Global Executive MBA (expected 2025) at Duke University. Setting my sights on venture capital, I aim to create a deeper impact by investing in companies with a social and environmental conscience.

Driven by my value of “Purity of Heart” which is inspired by my love for Jesus, I care about creating spaces where people feel loved and like they belong. Fun fact: I am a self-described “vegan-ish” individual. Heavy on the “-ish” as my niece playfully points out.
