I’m a Native American, a veteran, a first-generation college graduate, and extremely proud to be part of Team Fuqua!

I currently live in the Washington, D.C. area, but I grew up in Southwest Arkansas. I enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry in 2005, where I served in a variety of duty assignments and on multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I finished my military career in Arlington, Virginia, while assigned to the U.S. Army Honor Guard (The Old Guard), where I primarily managed operations for military funerals in Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). My decision to leave the service in 2017 was driven by a desire to pursue my education and get a head start on my next career.

Shortly after being discharged, I began working in government contracting as a project manager, while continuing to pursue my educational goals. Since then, I’ve taken on several analyst and project/program management roles, with increasing levels of responsibility, to support a variety of federal agencies. In 2023, I was fortunate enough to begin working full-time under my own small business, as an analytics consultant for a federal customer.

On the academic side, I’ve since completed my BBA at Strayer University, an MBA with an analytics concentration from the University of Dayton, and the accelerated MSQM:BA in 2021. I also maintain an array of professional certifications that include the Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker credentials.

Without a doubt, the MSQM:BA Program was critical in my pivot to an analytics-focused role and I seek every opportunity to promote the program and the university to others.
