I wanted to deepen my technical skills while keeping a strong focus on business management, and the MSQM: Business Analytics degree at Fuqua felt like the perfect program for gaining a competitive advantage that aligned with my career goals.

Deciding to apply is no small feat, especially when balancing a packed schedule, a full-time career, and personal responsibilities.

Over the course of 20 years, I held various leadership roles such as team leader, manager, and service coordinator, giving me deep insight into the health care system.

Our financial aid office works hard to ensure that resources are transparent, personalized, and inclusive of all students, regardless of their background or citizenship.

From stronger analytical thinking, quicker application of new skills, or a broader understanding of how data can be leveraged, the program has transformed how we show up in different areas of our lives, especially the workplace.

Looking back on my time at Duke, I feel proud, but I feel even more grateful…for the people I met, for the ideas I was exposed to, and for the unexpected benefits of the program.

Before entering the program, I was a little hesitant about doing an online program, but Fuqua's MSQM: BA checked a lot of my boxes.

My journey from bedside nurse to the tech industry was made possible by the professors, leaders, and support from the Duke community.
