Originally from New York, I attended the State University at Buffalo where I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2012. As a new graduate, I wanted to continue to grow and develop my understanding of patient conditions and their interactions with the health systems treating them. I would begin my career working in acute care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital where I specialized in treating patients in the intensive care unit. Working in this dynamic and challenging environment, it did not take long for me to gain interest in system-wide quality improvement. The crossroads of data-driven solutions and evidence-based practice would fuel my passion for pursuing my MSQM: Health Analytics degree.
