I currently work as a senior consultant – valuations at EY LLP. I have around 12 years of overall work experience in mergers and acquisitions valuations, banking, risk management, and a bit of teaching. I received an M.A. in financial risk management from Simon Fraser University (Canada), an M.A. in economics from York University (Canada), and a B.B.A. from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
Since 2020, I have been teaching online for a non-government organization in India. This is an immense source of satisfaction for me as I have been able to provide social service (i.e. the ‘S’ in ESG) through an EdTech platform. We teach underprivileged individuals who are preparing for government job entrance exams in India. Through this NGO, I have been able to reach individuals living in villages and tribal areas across India and teach them basic concepts in economics, mathematics, English and social science.
My multicultural experience of having lived in different parts of India and the Middle East has helped me adjust easily to new environments and develop my communication and interpersonal skills. I look forward to spreading my wings further.
In my free time, I love organizing parties and events and having friends, family and neighbors over for a good time. Painting, public speaking, swimming, reading, cycling, singing Bollywood and Indian Carnatic music songs, playing tennis and taking long nature walks are also some of my favorite things.
