For Fuqua’s prospective female students, the annual Weekend for Women provides valuable insight on the admissions process and life at the school. Because of a lot of dedicated preparation on Fuqua’s part, some of the best and brightest female MBA candidates recently enjoyed a fun-filled and informative weekend.

The weekend’s events included a special Fuqua Friday social in the Fox Center, class visits, and dinner at the Washington Duke Inn. From hand-written welcome notes for attendees, to personally matched student liaisons, the weekend proved to be an eloquently planned affair and a great recruiting effort.

Fuqua students and faculty truly embraced the opportunity to shine. Fuqua once again displayed its uniquely collaborative and welcoming culture. In turn, student volunteers and faculty were delighted with a large turnout, introspective questions asked by attendees, and an abundance of enthusiasm. For the Fuqua women in the Association of Women in Business (AWIB) and the rest of the student volunteers this year, it’s now an even more exciting time as we await the incoming class of 2013.
