Originally from North Carolina but raised in Indiana, I earned degrees in international studies and Spanish from Indiana University before working at L.E.K. Consulting in Chicago and then business analytics and product management at Wayfair in Boston. I came to business school to crystalize the strategic knowledge I had gained through work. I chose Fuqua because of the humble, high-achieving, kind people I met, the opportunities to continue exploring a broad range of industries and types of companies, and the small city of Durham.

At Fuqua, I have assisted peers engaging in the job search as a career fellow and served as an associate board member at a Durham nonprofit through the Fuqua on Board program. I have appreciated the entrepreneurship resources at Fuqua (Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation), Duke (Duke Student Founders), and the local community. I spent last year engaging in a mentored study with NC IDEA, a local foundation that gives grants to help grow early-stage North Carolina startups. In addition, I’m involved with Building Outdoor Leaders at Duke (BOLD), the MBA Association Technology cabinet, the Indian Student Association (INDUS), and the Design + Innovation Club.
