I was born in Guatemala and raised in Honduras. Before Durham, I lived in Mexico where I did my undergraduate studies in marketing. My professional background is in management consulting and technology. Most recently, I worked for four years at Uber in its Latin America headquarters in Mexico City.
I came to Fuqua because I wanted to be a part of a community that believes in lifting others as they travel their own growth paths. The Fuqua alumni network is invaluable and has been a strong support to me both personally and professionally.
At Fuqua, I’m a cabinet member of the Association of Women in Business where I support our admissions efforts to recruit the next generation of women leaders at Fuqua. Additionally, I’m a cabinet member of the Duke MBA Tech Club, where I support my classmates in their recruiting efforts in the industry. I’m also a Forté Fellow, and I’m involved in Fuqua Pride and the Latin American Student Association.
Academically, I’m pursuing a certificate in Management Science and Technology Management (MSTEM) and a concentration in Strategy as I continue my professional path in tech.
