I was born and raised in Yeongju, Korea, and moved to Seoul when I entered university. I studied Korean History and, upon graduation, joined POSCO, where I have spent over a decade building my career. Over the years, I have taken on diverse roles from automotive steel sales and serving as executive assistant to the Chairman to managing the Hot Rolled Steel Sales Group. Leading large-scale production strategy projects and navigating crisis management situations taught me how to protect customer trust while delivering results, which has become the foundation of my professional journey.

At Fuqua, I have been drawn to the community’s emphasis on collaboration and the “Team Fuqua” spirit. The culture of authenticity and mutual respect resonates deeply with me, and I hope to continue developing as a leader who fosters inclusive, collaborative environments. Looking ahead, I aim to leverage the knowledge and network I gain from my MBA to lead sustainability and carbon-neutrality initiatives in POSCO’s corporate strategy group. My long-term aspiration is to play a pivotal role in driving the steel industry’s transition to a more sustainable future.

Outside of work, I am passionate about mentoring youth and volunteering, and I enjoy documenting new perspectives through travel and vlogging. Recently, I’ve also discovered joy in inviting friends over and experimenting with new Korean dishes, a small but meaningful way to share my culture and build community.
