I recently graduated from Fuqua with the Class of 2019, receiving my MBA and a certificate in Health Sector Management. My focus during school was on strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the health care sector, with an ultimate goal to seek leadership opportunities that will shape the healthcare system of the future. I spent my summer internship on the Corporate Strategy team at DaVita, where I worked on projects related to new business development. Now that I’ve graduated, I’ll be joining Optum in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and entering its Leadership Experience Rotation.

Prior to business school, I worked for nearly nine years as an employee of Epic Systems at its headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, and as director of Epic’s branch office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Over my tenure, I had responsibility for dozens of projects, including leadership over enterprise electronic health record implementations at Duke University Health System and the Danish healthcare system. When I wasn’t working with clients, my responsibilities included management of products, services, and teams under Epic’s population health and regulatory analytics suites.

I earned my undergraduate degree at Duke University in the Sanford School of Public Policy and was a member of the 2008 Robertson Scholarship class. I’m a devoted husband, dog dad, and Duke basketball fan, and in my free time, I love fitness, food, and being a for-hire DJ.
