I am Kastur, originally from a small town in Eastern India. I was born into a family of teachers. I always had an interest in science and technology and pursued chemical engineering at IIT. Before coming to Fuqua, I worked professionally in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and transportation, spearheading corporate strategy initiatives and digital transformations.
Spending my formative years in the willy world of business, I realized that I wanted to get exposure to multiple industries but stay close to technology as an overarching theme, along with fortifying my business acumen—hence came to business school and recruited for consulting with a primary focus on technology and digital innovations. Post my MBA, I will work at the Boston Consulting Group, focusing on their TMT (Tech-Media-Telecom) practice.
Past experiences mentoring students and colleagues made me realize that empathy and moral support can change lives. While at Fuqua, I tried to give back to the Fuqua community to the best of my abilities. I led the development of Fuqua’s Consulting Casebook ’22 and parallelly worked in a Career Fellow's capacity. Additionally, I served as the Career Chair for INDUS (South Asia Business Club). On the creative front, I continued to pursue my interest in visual arts and organized events to foster creativity and artistic expression across the Fuqua community as the co-president of Arts@Fuqua.
