I grew up in China and started my career as an international news reporter. Later, I switched paths and joined a management trainee program, which brought me into the business world. Since then, I’ve been working in retail at companies like Apple and Starbucks, where I’ve had the opportunity to engage in various roles, including store operations, customer experience, and strategy work. Trying several positions and seeing how wonderful companies interact with individuals has truly pleased me.
Besides my work, I really like plants. Wherever I go, I enjoy visiting the botanical gardens there. My favorite spot in Durham is the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, which I visit almost every month to see how the seasons shift. It makes me think and inspires me to take things easy.
