I am a former journalist who has reported on everything from financial statements to fires. My coverage of Hurricane Matthew’s impact on southeastern North Carolina and of housing regulations resulted in several awards from the North Carolina Press Association. Additionally, I received a first-place award from the Colorado Press Association for my business reporting. I later transitioned into working in public relations, where I have helped firms ranging from Fortune 500 Companies to Series A startups secure media coverage in outlets including Business Insider, Tech Crunch, Forbes, and FOX Business.
I founded my media relations and messaging company, MAV Media & Messaging, in November 2022 thanks to all of the help from the resources available at Duke University. I greatly enjoyed interning at Microsoft during the summer of 2022, and I have accepted a position as a product marketing manager at Microsoft when I graduate in May 2023. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and trying new restaurants.
