Hi, I am Olivia! I grew up in a small town called Mountain Top in Northeastern Pennsylvania. In college, I studied an unlikely pair of majors, classical studies and environmental studies, while playing varsity soccer. After college, I spent a year as finance director on a congressional campaign before joining Deloitte’s sustainability, climate, and equity practice, helping organizations tackle environmental and social challenges.

My nontraditional path led me to business school, and I felt a strong connection to Duke from day one (My dad did his undergrad at Duke, and I even went as a Cameron Crazie for Halloween in 5th grade). During my time at Fuqua, I’ve grown in ways I never expected, including testing career ideas in a Fortune 500 company, taking on nonprofit leadership roles, and now launching my own coaching business, Liv and Learn, which helps 20-somethings navigate their careers through a values-driven and relational approach.

Fuqua has been a place of discovery for me. I’ve loved being involved with the Fuqua/Coach K on Leadership & Ethics (COLE) and the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) centers and the Net Impact Club, but I have to same my favorite role has been serving as a graduate student usher for the men’s basketball team, where I’ve fully embraced my inner Cameron Crazie.

After graduation, I plan to stay in the Triangle, return to consulting, continue growing Liv and Learn, coach youth soccer, stay involved with nonprofit Note in the Pocket, and plan my wedding with my fiancé, Luke.
