I’m from Hamburg, Germany, and studied international relations in undergrad. I’m a husband and father, and an avid basketball fan (Go DUKE!). I worked as a microfinance consultant and a business intelligence sales consultant before business school. I spent many years living, studying, and then working in Russia and the Ukraine — where winters are endless, freezing, snowy and grey. That was the major part of my life prior to Fuqua.

I underwent a major transition to move to Durham and attend Fuqua. It was actually very enjoyable! My tip is to try to hold on to being yourself and never lose your sense of humor.

While at Fuqua, I did a concentration in decision sciences and financial analysis, and had an awesome summer internship.
