I was born in Monterey, California, and prior to arriving at Fuqua have lived in seven states and three countries and traveled to many more. As a third generation Army officer, I always felt I had an obligation to serve my country. I was commissioned as a logistics officer in 2011, culminating my career at the “Center of the Universe,” Fort Bragg, with an assignment in the 82nd Airborne Division.

Serving as an Army officer was an amazing experience, but I wanted to marry my leadership and operations experience with my interest in consumerism, behavioral psychology, and design, as a marketer so I came to Fuqua to make the transition. This summer I interned at Procter & Gamble as an assistant brand management intern working on Dawn.

At Fuqua, I have taken on roles that challenge me to think creatively. This year I am the marketing chair for the Duke Armed Forces Association, graphics editor for FuquaVision’s “Fuqua Action News,” and cross-industry VP for the Marketing Club. Outside of Fuqua I love the beach, riding motorcycles, and occasionally jumping out of airplanes.
