I grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina, and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in nutrition and Spanish and a minor in chemistry. Following undergrad, I moved to New York, where I interned with various food startups and worked as a sales manager for a natural beverage company. The corporate world opened my eyes and allowed me to see things from a business perspective, sparking my desire to go back to school and gain foundational business skills.

In my free time, you’ll most likely find me outside—I try to stay active and enjoy everything from biking to playing tennis to scuba diving. I’m passionate about health and wellness and love to ‘healthify’ recipes. After graduating from the MMS program I began working at Tyson Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Tyson Foods, where my team focuses investments in food and agriculture technology companies, covering everything from alternative proteins to connected kitchen devices to supply chain transparency solutions.
