I am from the Washington, D.C. metro area, and I graduated from James Madison University in May of 2021! I majored in health sciences with a minor in general business. During undergrad, I was a varsity student-athlete on the women’s softball team and a member of various on-campus organizations. In my free time, I enjoy working out, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family!
My decision to pursue graduate school was a bit out of the norm compared to most of my peers. I originally was drawn to make use of my fifth year of NCAA eligibility. After further research and completion of the rigorous recruiting process, I decided on Duke. I chose this university, and more specifically the MMS program, for many reasons. The most notable ones were the tradition of academic excellence, prestigious network of alumni, and family-oriented culture.
Deciding to pursue the MMS program and join the Fuqua Family was one of my finest decisions. During my short time at Fuqua thus far, I have learned a multitude of valuable lessons that have shaped who I am today and that I will carry on forever. At Fuqua, I currently hold two positions: a marketing fellowship and a diversity and inclusion fellowship. I am also an active member of various clubs and can be found at just about any Fuqua-related event!
If you have any questions regarding MMS, Fuqua, Durham, or more, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I had a few individuals that helped guide me through my business school process and I would love to do the same for you.
