I was born in Japan and moved to Durham, NC, in July 2023. I’m the wife of a Duke Ph.D. student and the mother of a one-year-old born at Duke Hospital — three Dukies at home! Before joining Fuqua, I worked at Central Japan Railway Company, where I was involved in new service development and cross-company collaboration.

One of my favorite spots on the Fuqua campus is the Hall of Flags, where more than 200 national and identity flags hang year-round to represent every student in the community. It reminds me how much Fuqua values diversity and how students from around the world have been embraced here. I’m very proud to be part of such a welcoming community.

I’m very interested in mobility, manufacturing, and consumer goods. In my free time, I enjoy exploring local parks, libraries, and cafes with my son!
