I’m a Master of Science in Quantitative Management: Business Analytics candidate in the program’s Marketing track, at Fuqua. My passion for analytics led me to choose this 10-month intensive and immersive coursework which is helping me dig deeper into the field of data science, strengthen my analytical skills, and develop a strong business acumen. Upon completion of my degree, my goal is to work as an analyst impacting business decisions through meaningful insights to improve operational efficiency, increase productivity, customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty, reduce costs, or discover untapped opportunities for increasing revenues.
Currently, I’m working as the executive director of internal strategy at Duke Interdisciplinary Social Innovators. Additionally, I was selected as a data science scholar by Udacity to complete a challenge course and compete against 15,000 other scholarship recipients from across the globe.
Prior to starting my master’s, I worked in California tutoring students in math using an online interactive platform. I finished my electrical engineering studies at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, after which I worked as configurations and change management lead for the second largest telecom operator in Pakistan. My major contributions were 4G launch in the country, accelerated and cost-effective product deliverables, and process and system improvements.
I’m a friendly and straightforward person. I take friendships very seriously, love teamwork, and like to help people. I am a foodie and food is something that can make me really happy!
