I was born in Shenzhen, China, and moved abroad to study in the U.S. during my first year of high school. Since then, I have graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in financial economics and music (composition).

Sports and music have been two major aspects of my life in the U.S. I developed a strong interest in volleyball, playing varsity in high school and club in college. On the other hand, I have also been involved in band, orchestra, and an a cappella group. These experiences have broadened my perspective in many ways.

Back to academics, with the knowledge I gained in undergrad and my experience interning at companies from different sectors (such as Tencent Music Entertainment Group and China Merchants Securities), I yearned to develop more practical skills in data analytics. This is why I chose Fuqua’s MQM program — to fully equip myself with the skills needed to become a better version of myself.
