Originally from Florida, I made the move to North Carolina over the summer to join Fuqua’s Admissions staff. Like many of you, I was looking to be part of something bigger. What I found at Fuqua was a team-oriented, mission-driven staff enthusiastically devoted to supporting working professionals looking to obtain an MBA. As the Admissions Counselor dedicated to the Weekend Executive program, my role is to guide prospective students through the long, and sometimes wearying, research and application process.

We try to be personal in our approach to counseling—everyone has a story, cultivated by a unique background and enriched with individual experiences. We want to learn more about you in order to make recommendations on how you can best tell your story. This personal connection and collaborative approach is pervasive at Fuqua. I witnessed it during my first visit to campus, and I was completely immersed in it within a week of being here. I was welcomed by current and former students, and I could quickly see how connected they were with each other as well as the faculty and staff. This is the Team Fuqua culture, and in doing my part, I am available to answer your questions about the Weekend Executive MBA program.

Wondering whether or not your work experience is a good fit for the cohort? Eager to know what the classroom environment is like and how much time commitment is required outside of it? Interested in knowing what things from your background the Admissions Committee will focus on?

These are all great questions, some of which you may have and all of which I can answer. Emailing me at weekend-mba-info@fuqua.duke.edu to schedule a phone conversation is the best way to start.

I look forward to hearing from you!
