After serving seven years in the U.S. Army, I transitioned to the corporate sector in 2016. I have held roles across product management, solutions consulting, and sales, all in the fintech space supporting the commercial banking sector. I have found that I love the fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment of founder-led and early equity-backed startups. I have discovered a passion for the ostensibly mundane world of commercial banking because of the growth and opportunity I see it bring to local communities.

When I am not reading about, thinking about, or opining on banking, tech, or banking tech, I spend most of my time with my wife and three energetic children. I enjoy a variety of athletic pursuits, read widely in many genres and on many topics (mostly history), and travel frequently for work and leisure. I hold a B.A. in history from Slippery Rock University, and I’m currently pursuing my MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
