I am an investor and a networker, whose goal in life is to leave the world a better place than the way I found it.
I live in Washington, D.C., with my wife and one-year-old daughter, who was born one month into my Weekend Executive MBA experience. We are excitedly expecting another girl this November, which is one month before the end of the WEMBA program. For work, I am an investment advisor at PFM, providing investment advisory and consulting services to state and local governments and not-for-profit entities throughout the South. I assist these entities in the identification of short—and long-term investment options and in structuring their portfolios for bond proceeds investing, operating and reserve funds, and contractual obligations.
I am also the Co-Founder and President of the Association of Public Finance Professionals of D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (APFP), a not-for-profit corporation. APFP’s mission is to encourage fellowship among public finance professionals and to promote standards of high professional integrity in the public finance industry through networking events and educational discussions that feature prominent public sector and public finance industry leaders.
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with Bachelor in Business Administration. In my spare time, I enjoy jogging, weightlifting, reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, bourbon, and good music.
