I am a CPA hailing from South Carolina, currently living in Houston, Texas with my husband Josh and corgi George. I received my undergraduate degree from Furman University in Asian Studies and Accounting and went on to pursue my Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee. Currently, I work as a financial reporting manager for TC Energy, an oil and gas company based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
In my free time, my corgi and I compete in Corgi Races around Houston and volunteer for different causes like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with my twin sister Cristina.
I come from a small town where there were limited opportunities and I am passionate about diversity of all kinds in the workforce, including race, gender, and socioeconomic diversity. By becoming a leader, I believe I can help women at all levels by advocating for their success and mentoring young women.
