As the Assistant Director of Admissions for the Global Executive MBA program, I’m often the first point of contact for prospective students looking to learn more about the nuances of the program and how it aligns with their goals and interests. I’ve been a part of Fuqua for over 6 years, spending several years as a reader for the daytime and one-year masters programs, while being a full-time mom. I am so glad I got to spend time learning about each of our programs and how they are unique but still bear the common ‘Team Fuqua’ ethos and excellence.
In a past life (aka before kids), I worked in audit and then tax consulting at Deloitte in India and the U.S., and have both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and finance. I was confident I’d spend my career in this space until I stumbled upon the world of admissions and have never looked back! The best part of my role is getting to know such a diverse and wonderful group of people from different industries, experiences, and countries!
My husband, kids, and I have called North Carolina home since 2006 and it is officially the longest I’ve lived anywhere in my life – a fact I’m rather proud of after being born and raised across a couple of different countries and moving around a lot. I love a good book and am pretty much always in the midst of one whilst looking for the next. I can often be found catching up on my reading while waiting in a carpool line around town.
