For the past 12 years, I have worked at Carofin, a boutique investment bank focused on private capital placement. My present role is VP of Sales and Syndication, and I lead Carofin’s marketing strategy, drawing from my experience raising capital across multiple industries, issuer stages, and asset classes.
My educational background includes a B.A. in journalism and American studies at UNC-Chapel Hill, and I am presently pursuing my MBA at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. I live and work in Durham with my beloved wife and two beautiful daughters. Outside of work and family, I’ve had the fortune to manage and perform as lead vocalist for The Shakedown. This dance band has facilitated over 300 weddings, corporate events, and sweaty dance parties since 2010.
